Noida Metro operations to stay suspended throughout weekend curfew

The Noida Metro Rail Company on Monday determined to droop metro operations within the nationwide capital area’s Noida and Better Noida throughout the weekend lockdown.

The Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh authorities had introduced a weekend curfew throughout the state on April 20. In the course of the first efficient weekend – April 24 and 25, the NMRC lowered the frequency of trains on the metro route that connects the dual cities by means of 21 stations between Pari Chowk in Better Noida and Sector 50, Noida.

However, any more, the metro operations on NMRC’s sole Aqua Line will stay suspended throughout the weekend lockdowns, the company selected Monday.

The UP authorities has imposed restrictions similar to weekend lockdown and evening curfew between 8 PM and seven AM within the state to curb the quickly rising instances of Covid-19.
